I’m 66 year old native Floridian with numerous dark spots on my skin. Until today, I had never seen a dermatologist. I’ve always been a little skeptical about having spots removed or biopsied because I’ve observed many people who seem to always be having this done. I understand that dermatologists have to be very cautious with their decisions to recommend these procedures. Some are probably overly cautious. Some - especially in insurance based corporate practices - probably have financial motives. My internal medicine physician recommended Dr.Grob. He suggested her because of her outstanding clinical expertise and her reputation for being thorough and honest. Today was my first visit with her. My physician was absolutely correct. She is everything that he said she would be. By the way, I am a dentist who has been in practice for 40 years. I’ve developed a pretty good instinct about choosing doctors. My first impression of Dr. Grob is very good.

I had a great experience with Dr. Dane at Modern Dermatology. I came in interested in anti-aging treatments and specifically wanted to learn more about Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing. What I appreciated most was Dr. Dane’s honest and conservative approach. Instead of recommending the procedure right away, he prescribed a facial cream and suggested I return closer to winter when Fractional CO2 treatments would be more appropriate. He took the time to explain the benefits, timing, and expected results, and I never felt pressured into doing anything before it made sense. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and made the visit very comfortable. It’s refreshing to find a dermatologist who truly puts the patient’s best interests first. I went in for evaluation of some skin lesions, and she was extremely thorough, organized, and informative throughout the entire visit.
